For the past 8 years, Koua Lo (our lead developer at Lomation) and Pa Houa Lee has experimented with the Hmong language and technology. With Lomation finally evolving into an official business, the development of Hmong software has finally moved away from being just a hobby.

Going forward, we will be exploring and developing new Hmong software - starting with a bot to converse in Hmong using artificial intelligence algorithms (a chat bot). Our objectivity for this experiment is to see if we can pass the Turing Test - the Hmong way. It will be a fun ride. If you are an experienced programmer (we will mainly use PHP and JavaScript) and know the Hmong language well (read and write) and would like to join us build our chat bot, please contact us. There will be no monetary compensation, just something you can work on during your spare time (and a great resume item).
